As extended advancements in fuel industry are made, more increasingly efficient engineers are making their way into energy supply sectors. Of all the upgrades, the Fuel cell Technology is in fast moving progress and Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering has organized a special lecture on ‘Fuel Cells’ for the students of Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics Engineering department, preparing them to set a strong foot in such booming industry. Dr. D. Sangeetha, Assistant Professor (S.G), Department of Mechanical Engineering, Anna University, Chennai has been invited as the guest lecturer to address the students on the topic ‘Fuel Cells – Green Technology for Electricity Generation’. The lecture deals with the scope of fuel cell technology in powering our machines and its potential to help countries meet greenhouse gas reduction targets and slow the progression of climate change. This lecture will be extremely beneficial to budding Engineers who like the idea of using their Math and Science skills to work on mankind’s future energy needs as job opportunities in fuel cell sector including designing new fuel cell technology that improves the reliability, functionality and efficiency of the fuel cell. It is a great opportunity to “fuel one’s future”.
