IIC FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PRESENTS ONLINE WORKSHOPS ON EFFECTIVE PEOGOGIES IN TEACHING AND LEARNING ON 23 RD , 24 TH & 25 TH OF FEBRUARY 2022 @ 2.30 PM

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) intends to provide financial assistance to facilitate up-gradation of knowledge, skill and intends to provide opportunities for induction training to teachers employed in any educational disciplines. It covers areas such as technical education policy, new concepts, methods and techniques, theory and skills development and up gradation of pedagogy educational technology, motivation, communication skills, management and other relevant issues to keep pace with the changing scenario in Technical Education. On account of this valuable scheme, Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering in association with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) is excited to launch a series of expert online workshop (through Google Meet) on 23 RD , 24 TH & 25 TH OF FEBRUARY 2022 @2.30PM. On 23.02.2022, Ms. K. Anuratha, Assistant Professor II from the Department of IT at Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology, West Tambaram will be meeting our faculties online and enrich their knowledge on ‘Blooms Taxonomy In Teaching and Learning’ which provide a common language for teachers to discuss and exchange learning and assessment methods.

On 24.02.2022, Dr. R. Raja Guru, Associate Professor from the Department of CSBS at M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Karur will be meeting our faculties online and brush on ‘ICT enabled tools and innovative Techniques for Teaching and Learning’ which is used to resolve a wide variety of problems and can provide learning situations to explore and experiment with mathematical connections, and provide new ways of approaching the tasks.

On 25.02.2022, Dr. J. Rahila, Professor – Head IQAC from the Department of EEE at Dhaanish Ahmed college of Engineering , Chennai will be meeting our faculties online and enumerate on ‘Course outcome and mapping of CO to Programme outcomes’ which allows faculty to create a visual map of a program. It is also used to explore how students are meeting program-level outcomes at the course level. These workshops are designed to enhance the teaching skills of the faculty and to make them aware about modern teaching tools and methodologies. It provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge about current technological developments in their relevant fields. It will not only promote the professional practices relevant to technical education but also motivates the faculty to achieve competitive teaching and learning environment, thus channelizing development with respect to academic qualifications and personal matters.
