Human blood is an essential element of human life with no substitute and blood transfusion has been responsible for saving millions of lives each year around the world. Yet, the World Health Organization (WHO), states that the estimated quantity and quality of blood pool available for transfusion is still a major concern across the globe, especially in the developing countries. Owing to which, the Dhaanish National Service Scheme Unit and the Youth Red Cross Society has organized an open Blood Donation Camp in the college premises on 26 th March, 2022. Doctors and Medical assistants from the INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY will be assisting us in processing the blood donation camp. Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering has always encouraged its students to take part in social welfare programs and is excited to invite its staff and students to be a part this noble act.
